Hello, this is Alice.

Alice is a Gypsy cob mare found at a horse sale. She was being driven up and down a busy road at full speed for hours without a break. It was a hot day and when she was finally given a rest she was dripping with sweat and had no energy left to hold her head up, she hadn't even been offered a drink. At similar sales to this one horses have died from exhaustion and dehydration, they are just seen as goods to be sold to the highest bidder. We bought her and brought her home, gave her a good bath and a feed and let her relax in the stable. She has turned out to be the kindest, most honest, safest trouble free mare we've ever had. She loves being ridden, she's good with other horses, the sheep and the dogs, she's one in a million.
