Charlie Gets His Perfect Partner

Ebony the horse has been with us around 3 months now. Her owner was moving to somewhere else in the country and didn’t want to take her so here she is at the Sanctuary. What a lovely looking lady and just the right height for our tall Charlie. They both seem impressed with each other and have settled very well together. To see her story look at her Adoption Page.

Contentment At Last For the Stratford Lambs

Sadly only 5 of the 7 lambs rescued in an appalling condition from Stratford Market last November have survived but for those 5 it has been a true miracle. After a winter battling liver fluke and a severe eye infection in their emaciated condition, they gradually put on weight and gained some trust in the humans around them. They are now out in one of the smaller fields with last years gang of lambs – George and his two pals – and some of our more middle aged and sedate sheep like Barry. Now that they have been sheared they look extremely well and in very good condition. They confidently explore pockets, jackets and wellies during one of their photo calls. Please support the Sanctuary and help it to be here for the Stratford Lambs of the future, thank you.
