Internationally Renowned Photographer Maria Slough adds her support to Save The Sanctuary.

Pawtraits book cover

The Pawtraits Exhibition ™, a collection of black and white images by Maria, opens in London on Monday the 2nd of June.

Maria – “I have been so lucky to learn about the work of the Farm Animal Sanctuary while working on the Pawtraits Exhibition. The sheep photographed with Father John Ryder, to help raise awareness for the Sanctuary, were bred to die and rescued to live – a basic birthright. I am thrilled that the Farm Animal Sanctuary has the amazing Joanna Lumley as their patron and I hope that their picture from the Pawtraits Exhibition will continue to support them as they strive to provide a refuge for farm animals.”

Over the last 20 months vegan Maria has travelled approximately 2440 road miles, 360 nautical miles and 10,000 air miles to photograph well known faces and members of the public all with an animal of their choice. The photographs tell of stories of love and companionship each picture raising awareness for an animal related charity. The book of the entire collection is available to buy below, by clicking on the image, raising funds to support the charities in their ongoing work for the animals.
