Cissie

Cissie was a dearly loved pet to her previous owner. Due to a change in circumstances, Cissie needed a new home, and her owner was heartbroken at the thought of her being far away. Fortunately, we had a space available for Cissie.

Her previous owner generously provided the shed where she sleeps, filled it with straw, and donated a bounty of vegetables for all our pigs to share.

Her owner still visits regularly, bringing goodies for everyone each time. Cissie is a large, beautiful sow with a vibrant personality. She is very chatty and adores attention, always greeting us with a wide smile and a series of enthusiastic grunts.

She has a particular fondness for chewing the water pipe meant to fill her wallow. Cissie often turns it on by herself, rearranges the pipe, but never turns it off once she’s done!
