Snowdrop

Born the smallest of triplets, and indeed the tiniest lamb we have ever seen, weighing just two and a half pounds, Snowdrop was rejected by her mother.

Taken into the care of Janet, she was bottle-fed but remained absolutely determined to be with her mother and siblings in the pen in the barn. As a result, Snowdrop spent her days with her family and her nights in Janet’s bedroom.

It was truly touch and go as to whether she would survive and thrive. Not only did she survive, but she also flourished. Although still small for her age, she eventually caught up with her siblings quite dramatically. She considers Janet very much a part of her family and Rich Tea Biscuits an essential part of her diet!
