Twiglet

We received a call from a gentleman informing us that someone had knocked on his door to say one of his pigs had escaped. He immediately went out to check but found all six of his large pigs contentedly relaxing in their paddock.

His field borders some woods, and it was there that he spotted a tiny black pig. He went back for some food, and sure enough, after he placed it down, a small, nervous, and very hungry and thirsty piglet cautiously emerged from the woods. He picked her up and put her in his truck.

He contacted us to see if we could take the poor little piglet in and give her the TLC she desperately needed until someone came forward to claim her, or perhaps even offer her a forever home if no owner was found.

He had already asked around local smallholdings and within the local community, but no one had claimed the poor soul. He believes she was likely abandoned and left to fend for herself because she was no longer wanted.

She has since settled in very well here. She is a friendly, chatty, and energetic little pig. Welcome to your forever home, little one!
