As the days grow longer and the sun begins to warm the fields, the animals at the Sanctuary are embracing the change in seasons.
The cows and sheep have been released into the fields, where they are relishing the fresh green grass and soaking up the sunshine.
After a long, wet winter, it finally feels like spring is here!
With the new season comes lots of activity at the Sanctuary, from welcoming new arrivals to ensuring our residents are as happy and comfortable as possible.
It’s a busy but exciting time, and we can’t wait to share all the latest news with you.
Our two little ones, Bobby and Bonnie, have settled in so well!
Every day is an adventure for them as they spend hours playing in the barn, running around, and discovering new things.
After all that fun, there’s nothing they love more than getting snuggled up in bed, warm and cozy after a long day.
It’s been heartwarming to watch them grow and enjoy their new home.
Thanks to your incredible support, we are thrilled to share that we have been awarded £5,000 through the Movement for Good initiative!
Your nominations made all the difference, and we are beyond grateful for each and every one of you who took the time to vote for us.
This funding provides a significant boost to the Sanctuary, helping us continue our vital work caring for rescued animals.
Thank you for being part of our journey!
Just days after celebrating our win, we were hit with some devastating news—the sanctuary was broken into, and our essential farm vehicle, a Polaris Ranger, was stolen.
This vehicle is crucial for our daily operations, from moving animals to putting out feed and repairing fencing. Without it, we are struggling to provide care and attention to our 600 rescue animals. The police have been informed, but we accept that there is little hope of getting it back.
This is a crisis for us, as we do not have a backup vehicle. We urgently need help to replace it. If you can donate, fundraise, or share our appeal, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to getting back on our feet.

Thank you for your support.
Tuesday, 13th March, marked World Sleep Day, and when it comes to napping, our piggies really know how to do it right!
They find cosy spots to snooze, whether it’s in their beds or their delightful muddy wallows. These little ones are always so happy, and we love watching them enjoy their well-earned rest.
Meet our wonderful Larry – so many of you already know and love him!
When he first arrived at the Sanctuary, he was just a lonely little lamb. But once he became part of our family, everything changed.
Now, he has countless friends, both human and sheep, who adore him immensely.
He’s truly cherished and maybe just a little bit pampered!
Thank you for continuing to support all of our wonderful residents like Larry.
