From a Friday 13th pig rescue to welcoming three llamas and announcing our incredible new Patron – February has been anything but quiet at Manor Orchard Farm.

Happy New Year! We’re starting 2026 as official owners of Manor Orchard Farm – and it’s all thanks to you. Plus, frosty mornings, cosy animals and the real cost of keeping 600+ mouths fed this winter.

We did it! Manor Orchard Farm is officially ours. Plus, festive fair highlights, cosy winter nights for our animals, and Christmas tree treats for the goats.

As autumn settles in, The Farm is full of life, laughter and love – from piglets exploring their paddock to Halloween fun for families. But our biggest challenge is ahead: we must complete the purchase of Manor Orchard Farm by December to secure our animals’ future. Every donation helps us make it happen.

We’ve had an amazing August, we’ve saved 19 pigs, our cows and sheep enjoyed a delicious apple pulp feast, while Freedom Fields Festival 2025 brought music, compassion, and incredible support from our community.

The Farm has given 19 pigs a second chance at life after rescuing them from desperate conditions. Meet Rosita, Bruno, Penelope and friends, now safe and thriving thanks to your support.

Our essential Polaris Ranger was stolen from the Sanctuary last weekend, leaving us in crisis. This vehicle was vital for daily tasks, from moving animals to distributing feed. January brought plenty of challenges to the sanctuary, from frozen pipes and freezing temperatures to unexpected snow. Despite the winter hardships, our team pulled together to keep the animals safe and comfortable, while generous donations of surplus vegetables from local supermarkets brought welcome treats for the sheep, goats, cows, and pigs.
