We’ve said goodbye to the last day of summer – and what a lovely day it was! The sun is still making an appearance, but there’s a crisp chill in the air now.
As the nights draw in, our animals are getting cosy.
The pigs have their fresh straw beds topped up daily, and Dotty continues to be the sanctuary’s master bed-maker, carefully arranging her straw just the way she likes it.
But our biggest challenge is ahead: we must complete the purchase of Manor Orchard Farm by December to secure our animals’ future. We’re now in the final stretch of our campaign to buy Manor Orchard Farm – the forever home for our 600+ rescue animals.
We have until 4th December to complete the purchase and secure the sanctuary’s future lock, stock and barrel. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to ensuring every animal here continues to live with love, respect and safety – just as we promised them.
Our team is working around the clock to make it happen, but we can’t do it without your help.
If you can, please make a donation to our JustGiving page and be part of this incredible journey to protect the animals who depend on us.
Your support genuinely changes lives – and you’re always welcome to visit, see the difference you’ve made, and share in the joy you’ve helped create.
A huge thank you to our amazing supporters who’ve kept the animals so well fed with fresh fruit and veg donations.
From apple pulp and strawberries to pears and regular supplies from our ever-reliable Tesco Dave, the animals are absolutely loving their tasty treats.
We’re endlessly grateful – every box of produce helps keep tummies full and tails wagging.
One of our most joyful moments this month was finally letting our rescue family of piglets explore their new paddock.
With tall grass to snuffle through, shady trees to nap under, and plenty of mud for digging, they’re now living their best piggy lives – happy, healthy, and free.
Our lovely Zsa Zsa has been adjusting to her new prosthetic leg. The fit is perfect, but keeping it attached securely has been a bit of a challenge.
Thankfully, our wonderful vet team has been on hand to make adjustments – closely supervised, of course, by Kamari and Eliza, who never miss a thing!
We’re hoping to show you Zsa Zsa walking confidently on her new leg very soon.
They’re finally here! Our 2026 Farm Calendars are now on sale – filled with beautiful photos of our much-loved rescue animals, captured in their happiest, cheekiest and most heart-warming moments.
Each month tells a little story of sanctuary life, and every calendar sold helps us care for the 600+ animals who call The Farm home. It’s the perfect gift for animal lovers, or a lovely way to bring a touch of the sanctuary into your own home all year round.
We also have a delightful range of Farm Christmas Cards, each one featuring our rescue residents in festive style.
